Van Gaal has admitted he is bored by his Man Utd side
Maybe Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal was missing the point when he claimed a rush to beat the traffic jams inspired hordes of the club’s fans to leave Old Trafford before the end of last Saturday’s FA Cup win against Sheffield United.
With discontent rising among United fans who appear to have lost faith with Van Gaal's brand of football, the pressure is building on the Dutchman once again.
He is the odds on favourite to be the next manager to get the sack in the Premier League, with Tuesday night's game at Newcastle the latest big test of his side's title credentials.
It may be that playing away from home is a blessing in disguise for Van Gaal and United as this statistic from Talksport confirms that Old Trafford has been the venue for the fewest goals in all of English football this season.
A glance at the statistic for ALL 92 CLUBS in England confirms that the Theatre of Dreams had become the Temple of Tedium in the 2015/16 season….

With that in mind, it is little wonder that these latest odds on the next Premier League manager to lose his job confirms that Van Gaal is very much in the firing line:
PREMIER LEAGUE SACK RACE
Louis van Gaal (Man Utd) 8/15
Remi Garde (Aston Villa) 4/1
Steve McClaren (Newcastle) 11/1
Ronald Koeman (Southampton) 12/1
Alex Neil (Norwich) 25/1
